Privacy

StatementCSV is built so that we don't have your bank statement. This page explains what that means in practice.
Your statement
The PDF you drop on the page is opened and parsed by pdf.js inside your browser tab. It is not uploaded to our servers, not stored by us, and not visible to us. The extracted rows are kept in your tab's session storage — only so they survive the redirect to Stripe and back — and disappear when you close the tab.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe Checkout on Stripe's own pages. Stripe processes your card details under its own privacy policy; we never see your card number. What we receive from Stripe is payment metadata: that a checkout for the price of one conversion was paid, when, and the receipt email Stripe collected. We use it for bookkeeping and to answer refund requests, nothing else.
What we don't do
No accounts. No analytics or advertising trackers. No cookies set by us. No selling or sharing of data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent) for security and operations, as effectively all web hosting does; those logs never contain your statement or its contents, because the file never reaches the server.
